Customer Terms and Conditions

These terms apply when a UK user visits gotocourt.co.uk, calls the AI information line, requests a solicitor or purchases a consultation.

1. Operator and scope

Go To Court UK is operated by Platfirm AI Pty Ltd, ABN 24 679 859 744, an Australian company. The UK has distinct legal systems. You are responsible for identifying the relevant jurisdiction as accurately as you can.

2. AI information, not legal advice

Jen is an AI assistant, not a solicitor, barrister, advocate, chartered legal executive, immigration adviser or other regulated professional. The information service does not provide legal advice or create a solicitor-client relationship. AI output may be wrong, incomplete or outdated.

3. Independent professionals

Where available, Go To Court may request a match with an independent regulated professional. Participating professionals are not employees or agents of Platfirm AI. We do not guarantee availability, acceptance, legal merit or outcome. A professional-client relationship starts only if the professional agrees to advise or act.

4. Paid consultations

The checkout shows the fee, duration, scope and format before payment. The current offer is £145 for a requested one-hour phone or video consultation in the listed areas. Unless stated otherwise, it excludes drafting, filing, advocacy, representation, negotiation and ongoing work. Later work must be agreed directly with the professional.

5. Payments, cancellations and refunds

Stripe processes payments; we do not store full card details. Unless checkout terms say otherwise: a refund is available if no professional is allocated within the stated booking period, if you cancel before allocation, or if the allocated professional fails to provide the consultation. After allocation, cancellation depends on timing and availability. After the consultation, no refund is available unless required by law.

6. Privacy and acceptable use

We process personal information under our UK Privacy Notice. You must not provide deliberately false information, impersonate another person, use the service unlawfully, abuse people or the AI assistant, or interfere with the service.

7. Liability and consumer rights

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Platfirm AI is not liable for loss caused by reliance on AI-generated information, a missed deadline or an adverse legal outcome. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory UK consumer rights.

8. Regulation, governing law and contact

Platfirm AI is not itself authorised by a UK legal-services regulator. An independent professional must supply their own regulatory, insurance, complaints, engagement and costs information. These terms are governed by New South Wales law except where mandatory UK law applies. Contact admin@platfirm.ai.
