How the model works

A clear separation of roles

  1. 1

    A client requests a consultation

The client pays Go To Court UK £145 for the matching and arrangement service and a one-hour phone or video consultation, subject to the published terms.

  2. 2

An appropriate solicitor may be notified

Potential matches consider jurisdiction, practice area, location or remote availability, capacity and conflicts. Notification does not compel you to accept.

  3. 3

    You decide independently

If you accept, you provide the complimentary one-hour consultation. Any later engagement is between you and the client under your own terms and professional obligations.

Priority membership is a commercial arrangement. It may affect notification order, but it does not replace suitability checks or require a client to retain a particular solicitor. See Solicitor Matching.

Before applying

What we expect

Applicants should hold the qualifications and practising authorisation required for the jurisdictions and services they offer, maintain appropriate insurance, undertake their own conflicts and client-onboarding checks, and comply with their regulator's rules.

The solicitor remains responsible for

  • accepting or declining each opportunity
  • scope, advice and professional judgment
  • identity, AML and conflict checks
  • engagement terms after the initial consultation
  • regulatory, confidentiality and data-protection duties
